You know how, when you come up to your dog with a leash and say "Walk?" It gets all excited? Wags its tail so hard you fear its butt might fall off? And how, when you take it for a drive it gets excited because it's going to hang its head out the window?

Inspired by ana's Holed diary I went out this morning with my camera to get pictures of DC, in Spring, a month after the record setting snowstorms.

Was talking with some friends a few days back about our first memories. Not the first memories of $x, but the first memories. And the first ones we can assign a date (even approximate) to.

I may have diarized this (or commented on it) before...

Don't love my job, though I do like it. Like the field I work in. Current job is interesting.

As tf said, Events are cowards: They run in packs.

The First Amendment:

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

So in relation to speech, it doesn't say anything about people, it just bans Congress from making any laws abridging freedom of speech.

A few thoughts after living with it for a month.
