Mainly kept here for possible future reference. The assumption is that legalization of gay marriage inevitably leads to legalization of some form of plural marriage.

I should note here that when I lived in Utah I knew several people who left, or were expelled from, the FLDS town on the UT/AZ border. That's not the nastiest polygamist group, but it's certainly not pleasant. One such group, in SLC, horsewhipped a young girl who tried to escape. She re-escaped, went to the hospital, and all hell broke loose. That's when the current crackdown began.

I assume all this Rebooting of the Matrices stuff is related to new features being rolled out, and the hiccups attached thereto.

So I mentioned, in a few comments, that a friend of mine (who, by the way, is as white as I am) just got his Masters in Sociology from Trinity College in Dublin. His thesis was on Irish Hip Hop. Having started hearing Rap and then Hip Hop in the early 80's, when the genre was first starting, my reaction was: "What? Irish Hip-Hop? What the fuck do the Irish know about the ghetto/thug life? " Followed by laughter.

So Earth-Dog (that's what we call him) sent me an e-mail with links to the best stuff. Most of it's pretty good.
