I get a lot of book recommendations from them. The first woman to fly supersonically doesn't seem to have written one but The Cretan Runner did, as did Wilfred Thesiger (several in fact) and I've duly wandered off to Amazon and bought them. I'd like a copy of Harry Humphries book about his time with 617 squadron, but it's currently out of print.

Lots of Second World War around at the moment, but that's the way things work out as the survivors who were in their twenties reach their 80s and 90s.
